One of the many things we’ve all learned in lockdown is that a sense of community is key. People have engrossed themselves in charity work, helping others, donating services and time or running charitable competitions. The community spirit that is there on a Thursday evening clapping for our carers, helping the clinically vulnerable with their shopping, checking on friends and family via Facetime and ZOOM. People that may have kept themselves to themselves before, are now integrating on social media platforms. In this hard time we must keep and push that sense of community and check on those we haven’t heard from for a while.
Roy Fever has throughout this been cheering audiences up and getting involved with the community and other local businesses via his community online chats. If you would like to have a community chat with him about yours, get in touch via facebook.
