The most viewed homes currently for sale have been revealed, with multi-million pound mansions dominating the eccentric list.

They include a country house in Surrey’s affluent Godalming with 330 acres, nine bedrooms, a swimming pool, tennis court and a helipad, and a guide price of £15million.

There is also a nine-bedroom house in Chigwell, Essex which has a significantly lower price tag – although it still runs into millions.

At just shy of £5million, the price includes a bedroom with silver wallpaper, padded headboard and a large ceiling mirror above the bed.
In terms of price, there are a couple of exceptions in the most viewed list, which is dominated by high values.

They include a four-bedroom detached house in Pencader, a small village in the Welsh county of Carmarthenshire.
The house has a guide price of only £40,000, but the property is likely to sell for much more as it is being sold at auction.

The Grade II listed Georgian country house dates back to the 1800s and is set in 2.5 acres of woodland.

The other cheaper property in the list compiled by property website Zoopla is a three-bedroom house in Sunderland in Tyne and Wear.

The semi-detached abode has a price tag of £199,500 and has been sold subject to contract.

Silver is also a theme in this property’s interior design, with a silver velvet bedstead and matching curtains with a pelmet.
